GTL + DLC
Well, I’ve started writing this at GTL+DLC since, well, I have the time to, and it seems that we will get a better report out of it.
Initialy I wasn’t planning on comming for the entire time, for the simple reason of, as many of you know, I’ve recently been into hospital, and then had said operation cancled on me, so I really wanted to spend the time widning down from the immesnse stress insted of having to run one of these things.
I’m kinda glad that Rachel made me come to GTL, its been an amazing time, there was well over 45 people here, getting close to 50 i recon, and I think, has completly rejuvinated GTL.
The DLC admin guys… I don’t quite know what to make of them yet, when sitting down and chatting, I think we came to the correct conclusion about Noel: Craig but without the analness. And Noel’s partner…. damn, can’t remember the name, lets just call him ‘race-car-driver’ for now, is well… to borrow a term from Rachel, hes “good value”.
It was good to see Paulo and Dale again, Dale I last saw on my 21st, and Paulo I havn’t seen since last year, its always facinating to see how much they havn’t changed, yet have cahnged. Which brings me to Watto, either hes settling down more, or it was just the buron of some responsibility, but hes become a real valuable member to the team, and its good to see everyone putting in there little bit around the LAN. Made props to Steve there.
Initialy I was worried about how the GTL boys, and the DLC boys would mingle, but really the only difference is the age range. I don’t think there was any friction between any group of people, there was no inter-group jelousy. Everyone treated it just as they were ment to, one huge LAN, and as I keep saying, what a LAN its been.
As I sit here at 5:30am in the morning contemplating packing up, I’m trying to think of the best way to present to you guys what made the night so awesome, and it really can’t be put into words, it was one huge lump of “had to be there”.

GTL + DLC was the best idea either LAN has ever had, and has been a brilliant move for both partys.
